I forgot to renew my website.
That is why it is down.
I apologize. It will be offline for a few more days.

Due to me trying to make my website a little more interactive (for me) the website is going to be offline for a little bit while things get rearranged.

It's my book and I'll write if I want to...

When we first start writing we do it for the sheer joy of writing. The need to share a story.

When did I get off track?
My writing has improved thanks to many teachers who have taken the time to point out my errors and ways I can improve. But I have gotten distracted.

I have been editing/rewriting Redemption except for today that is, and something keeps nibbling at my mind.

It hit me hard as I was doing dishes. I am resisting writing what I love to write. What I love to read.

Why?
I doubt I'll ever know the answer, though I think I do know. Thank you very much society. I resolve to fix it though.

Redemption is officially on hold. There is another story that, to make Redemption understandable and not so info dumpy, must be written.

From now on I resolve to write the stories I love.

MOP now has 29 completed chapters!
another 30 to go.

I have been busy. Writing and summer doesn't seem to mix well.

aside from cleaning, I am about to organise my hard-copy/worldbuilding/maps story stuff. Each world need it's own binder.
I have already re-organized my computer files like that. Each world has its own folder in that folder is a folder for each story.
I like to use my worlds more than once.
I think today will definantly be a writing day.

Current Projects I am working on:

Magic Maker: editing/re-write. Just a few scenes need to be altered and re-written.
Masters of Purgatory: slow going. I need to finish this. My motivation withered away a few months ago which makes me angry at myself

The Shiny and the New has been shelved untill I can locate a publication it would fit in.

For some reason that makes me happy.

I am considering setting up a fan web site, dedicated to my favorite authors.
Eventually it would be my professional site for my own stuff.
Thoughts? Opinions?

It came through one of my beta readers. His input sent me to the library to do research, which led me to going over to Holly Lisle's website. I forgot why exactly when I clicked on her map workshop.

I have a new story I am fiddling with. I have a couple of new characters. And so far no plot. Not really. I need to do some more work on it.

editing goes slowly. The past week has been so busy I haven't had time to crash yet.

I had a question which I went searching for an answer and stumbled upon Beth Anderson's synopsis workshop. Which I am considering a gem. It led me to try it out. Hey I'm serious about getting published. I am realizing something. My big project can be split into several books.
oooo, sounds fun.

I love them.

I am going to World Fantasy Convention this Nov.
I feel very strongly that this can help me with my writing and meeting other writers.

I have a story kicking around that I love. I mean this sucker is funny, imo. I get the giggles reading it. Then again I am weird. Well I just realized where I could submit it. So I am dusting it off, trying to tighten it up and make it all *ahem* shiny again.

I will let you all know how it goes.
